With 40 years in the Playground Installation industry we like to think we know a few things about play area construction, and have seen many changes over this time both in terms of Health and Safety requirements and also changes to the playground standard from the early days of BS5696 through the various stages of EN1176, we keep ourselves up to date in all these areas.

URBAN RECREATION are proud to be accredited by SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) a UK government-backed initiative designed to improve safety standards and reduce the risks associated with procurement processes in construction and other sectors. It focuses on ensuring that suppliers, contractors, and service providers meet specific safety standards before they can be hired.
In short, SSIP offers customers peace of mind by ensuring that their contractors and suppliers are held to high safety and ethical standards. It saves time, reduces risk, and can enhance the overall quality and compliance of a project.
All of our site operatives are CSCS certified and experienced in the construction of play areas.
